Terms of Service

PrepPair is operated by CresMD, based in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. By creating an account you agree to what follows. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

What PrepPair is

PrepPair introduces you to other people preparing for the same exams or coursework and gives you the tools to study with them: matching, messaging, scheduled sessions, and a video room. We are an introduction service. We do not employ, screen, verify, supervise, or vouch for the people you are matched with, and we are not responsible for what they say or do.

Not medical or educational advice

Nothing on PrepPair, and nothing another member tells you through it, is medical advice, clinical guidance, or an official statement about any examination. Exam formats, eligibility rules, and passing standards are set by the bodies that run them, and only those bodies can tell you what is currently true. Verify anything that matters with the official source. We make no promise about your exam result.

Who can join

• You must be 18 or older.
• One account per person, with accurate information about yourself.
• You are responsible for keeping your password private and for everything done from your account.

How you must behave

Members are here to study. You agree not to:

• Harass, threaten, demean, or discriminate against anyone.
• Share exam content that you are not permitted to share, including recalled or reconstructed questions from a live examination.
• Share other members' messages, photographs, or personal details outside PrepPair without their permission.
• Record a video session without the clear agreement of everyone in it.
• Use PrepPair to advertise, recruit, or sell.
• Attempt to break, overload, scrape, or gain unauthorised access to the service.

We can suspend or remove an account that breaks these rules, and we will do so without warning where someone's safety is at stake.

Your content

What you write stays yours. You give us permission to store and display it as needed to run the service, for example showing your profile to the people you are matched with. You are responsible for having the right to post whatever you post.

Paid plans

• Free accounts can see and message a limited number of matches and open study rooms capped at 30 minutes.
• Pro is billed through Stripe, monthly, annually, or as a one-time three-month exam-cycle pass.
• Subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel. You can cancel at any time from your billing page, and access continues to the end of the period you have paid for.
• Prices can change. Any change is announced before it affects a renewal.
• Refunds are covered by our refund policy.

Availability

PrepPair is provided as it is. We work to keep it running, but we do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted or error-free, that you will be matched with anyone, or that a match will be a good study partner. Video calls depend on a third-party provider and on your own connection.

Limit of liability

To the extent the law allows, CresMD is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of PrepPair, including exam outcomes, lost study time, or disputes with another member. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you have paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

Ending your account

You can delete your account at any time from your account page. We may close an account that breaks these terms. If we close your account without cause, we refund the unused portion of anything you have paid.

Changes and governing law

We may update these terms. Material changes will be announced by email or in the app before they take effect. These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Alberta, Canada. Reach us at preppair@cresmd.co.
